How to Clear Your Browser Cache

Kegan - February 6, 2023 - 0 comments

A browser cache is a locally stored copy of what’s online that your web browser can access instead of the live content to speed up the page load. However, while your website is being put together by 96 Creative Labs, it may be necessary to clear your browser cache to see the latest updates to your Web design on our development server, images, or other potentially cached items. The following instructions will help ensure the page you have previously visited has been updated in your web browser.

Google Chrome

You can force refresh the page with the key combination Shift + Ctrl + F5, or clear your browser cache by following these steps:

  1. Click on the “Hamburger Menu” in the top right corner
  2. Select Settings from the drop-down menu
  3. Select History from the menu on the left
  4. Click the Clear browsing data… button
  5. Check the box next to Empty the cache
  6. Click the Clear browsing data button at the bottom

Mozilla Firefox

Apple Safari

Option 2. Menu

  2. Scroll to history.
  3. Click on delete the whole history.
